YOUR HOST, TOM O’CONNOR

Tom is a long time lover and resident of Pinehurst, NC. 30 years ago, he planned HIS maiden Pinehurst golf getaway; 10 years later, Tom purchased Holly House to be his next historic restoration project in Pinehurst. Previously, he had restored historic houses in Wilmington NC (with Wilmington historic restoration specialist Tim O’Callaghan and won awards together - though Tim deserves all the credit!). Tom and Tim restored 100 Kelly Road in the Village (now the “Boo Cottage”, owned by Val and Bob Meade). When Tom is not in Pinehurst, he is advising parents around the US how to navigate addiction and mental illness issues with their adult kids. Before embarking on his longtime career in healthcare, Tom was a European-trained chef and cooked in Washington, DC. Around Pinehurst, you’ll find him in the kitchen, on the golf course, or breathing new life into an old house. 

NOTE: Tom does not stay on property when you are there. You have Holly House all to yourself.
